In Waco, landscape supply yards usually price bulk material by the cubic yard and charge a delivery fee by distance, so measure the area first: one cubic yard of mulch covers about 100 square feet at three inches deep. Across Texas, small-engine repair shops get backed up in early spring, so service mowers over the winter. Many yards and feed stores close earlier on weekends. Check the listing for hours, phone number and Google rating, and call ahead to confirm stock and delivery days.

Waco is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Waco follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I’ve been a handful of times now and the employees are so helpful and nice every time. All their plants are super affordable and healthy. plus they have them in a tank so they don’t have a super long melting phase. Really great local fish store.

Fish looked healthy, but place just seemed run down. No one greeted us, one of the owners? was sitting in a chair reading as we walked by... Didn't even acknowledge us. A younger girl was helping someone get fish and she seemed helpful but was obviously already busy. All the tanks looked like they were the originals and not much being done with them. Lighting was funky and the smell was more funky than the seafood section of an asian market... Just seemed like maybe they were tired of running the business. I think we'll find somewhere else to buy. We drove an hour to this place.

Had to leave a review for North Waco Tropical Fish because this place is dangerous… in the best way. Staff was awesome—super helpful, actually know what they’re talking about, and not pushy at all. You can tell they care about the fish and not just making a sale. The selection is insane too. Everything looked healthy, active, and way better than most stores I’ve seen. I walked in telling myself, “just looking.” Yeah… that lasted about 3 minutes. Left with 4 more Corydoras (because apparently I have no self-control) and a beautiful yellow angelfish that I absolutely did not plan on buying—but here we are. If you’re into aquariums at all, this place is 100% worth it. Just be prepared to leave with more fish than you intended. 10/10 would accidentally spend money here again.

Super friendly. Never make you feel dumb for asking questions. Family run. Me and my 3yr old love going there. They always give her a sticker and talk with her too. It is truly enjoyable visiting the store.
